Hi to all (three) readers out there!
So much to say, but I’ll just include a few pictures here. The past week has been so incredibly beautiful here in the bay. I’ve been doing my best to spend time outside as much as possible on a bike or on my feet. This has proven fruitful as I think I was reaching a critical situation for my vitamin D levels. We’re expecting some rain this weekend, so I wanted to squeeze in as much as possible. Which I did!
Below are images of food and beverage I’ve consumed. The first is from Torpedo tasting room in Berkeley on 4th st. This is Sierra Nevada’s tasting room for rare and bizarre beers. Here is a flight of 4 oz tasters I enjoyed with my friend Carey Bonn!
What’s better than a delicious salad? How about two?
Sunday was a gardening day, the first of the season, and it was so warm and pleasant to be outside diggin’ in the dirt. I’m looking forward to more of this throughout Spring. Kat Wild gave me Jerusalem Iris bulbs which I planted in the garden bed in the backyard. She says they have stunning, bright white flowers. I’m quite eager to see them grow, and happy there’s some rain coming to nourish them. And as I weeded, I picked the sour grass. How can a plant with such an ugly definition be so beautiful?
The rain is coming! I’m excited to stay in and catch up on my collaging and watch movies. Happy Tuesday!
